Pigment & Co, official Little Greene distributor

We offer every colour in the range, in every finish. With official tinting machines, we prepare most finishes as soon as your order is paid. For specialist finishes, please get in touch to confirm the lead time. We deliver to Portugal (mainland and islands) and Spain (mainland and the Balearic Islands).

Colours with a history

Little Greene's story begins in 1773, at a small dye works near Manchester that supplied pigments to the region's weaving mills. It is still a family-run business, with its own factory in the foothills of Mount Snowdon, in North Wales. Paint is made in small batches, and sample pots are still filled by hand.

The collections

Colours of England is Little Greene's main colour card: 124 colours, from the Georgian era to the 1970s, drawn largely from research in historic houses, in association with the National Trust. The Colour Scales show the same colour at several strengths, from palest to deepest, making it easy to combine walls, ceilings and woodwork. Sweet Treats is a small collection of warm neutrals in shades of honey, caramel and chocolate. The Archive brings together colours that have since been retired from the current colour cards, which we still make to order.

The finishes

Interior: Absolute Matt Emulsion, Intelligent Matt Emulsion, Intelligent Eggshell, Intelligent Satin, Intelligent Gloss, Intelligent Floor Paint, Interior Oil Eggshell, Traditional Oil Gloss

Exterior: Intelligent Exterior Eggshell, Tom's Oil Eggshell, Intelligent Masonry Paint

Not sure which to choose? Our Little Greene paint finishes guide compares the sheen, washability, coverage and best surfaces for each one.

The Intelligent system

Intelligent paints need no primer on almost any surface, including plaster, wood, radiators, tiles and melamine: just apply two coats. On new plaster, the first coat is the paint itself thinned with 5 to 25% water. Only for a strong change of colour do you start with Intelligent ASP, the brand's all-surface primer. Unlike most primers on the market, it is tinted to the same shade as your chosen colour.
