Ganache borrows its name from the blend of chocolate and hot cream born, by happy accident, in 1920s Paris. As a colour, this deep brown from Little Greene's Sweet Treats collection was found on an elaborately painted ceiling at Blickling Hall in Norfolk — hidden under boards for a century and rediscovered after a flood. Likely the darkest note in a room, it pairs with the even deeper Chocolate Colour.
