Hammock - Pale is the lightest of the three shades Little Greene drew from Hammock, its much-loved warm neutral paint, and the one that most easily takes the place of white. It has just enough warmth to keep a ceiling from looking cold, which is exactly how the neutrals of historic country houses were used. Shirting and Haye White, both Little Greene whites, sit beside it without a break, and Carmine, from the same palette, is the pink that wakes it up.
