Mardom Decor - Architectural elements, made for walls and ceilings
Exclusively distributed in Portugal by Pigment & Co
Architectural elements for more refined, more complete interiors.

Mardom Decor is one of Europe's leading brands in architectural interior elements. A collection of more than 550 references — skirting boards, wall mouldings, cornices, lighting profiles, wall panels, Lamelli and decorative details — developed with the depth and coherence of a complete interior system.
With over 20 years of continuous product development, 15 production lines and distribution across more than 50 countries, the brand carries the technical depth and manufacturing credibility that serious interior projects require.
Its role within an interior can be subtle or transformative. In some spaces, Mardom Decor resolves transitions, corrects proportions and delivers a more finished result. In others, it introduces texture, rhythm, LED integration or a stronger architectural statement. What makes the brand particularly compelling is that it works as a complete system rather than a collection of isolated decorative products — a single architectural language that extends from floor to ceiling.
The complete range
Mardom Decor covers the full spectrum of architectural interior elements — broad enough to equip an entire project from a single brand.
Multiple profiles, heights and styles. Available in standard matte (for painting) and Premium satin (factory-finished, direct installation). Flex versions available for curved spaces.
From minimal LED profiles to classical ornamental friezes. Includes multifunctional profiles that can be used as skirting board, wall moulding or cornice depending on orientation.
Vertical slat wall panels in PolyForce®. Four collections: Stretto, Medio, Largo and Sereno. Available in white and six oak tones.
Three wave-profile collections (Duna, Lumio, Vivid) with tongue-and-groove system. No filler, no acrylic required.
Classic wainscoting effect at partial or full wall height. Five finishing profiles. Compatible with any water-based paint.
Curtain rail function with optional integrated LED backlighting. Developed in collaboration with architects.
In high-density ProFoam®. Adhesive installation, minimal weight, compatible with chandelier suspension.
For a coherent architectural language from wall to opening.

Design recognised by international juries
One of the world's most prestigious product design competitions, running since 1955. The QL002 profile was selected by an expert jury on criteria of functionality, innovation, quality and ecological performance.
International Design Awards, Product Design – Illuminated Home Decor. Profiles designed by Tomek Rygalik, recognised among 3,100 projects from 95 countries.
Recognised in two independent competitions for design quality and market potential.
Built on engineering, not just aesthetics
Mardom does not subcontract production or import semi-finished components. Design, extrusion, coating and quality control all happen within the same factory. Every profile that arrives on site has passed through a process the brand controls entirely — from raw material to final finish.
The primary material across the range is PolyForce®, a high-density polymer (HDPS) developed in-house. With hardness exceeding 55 Shore D and density above 450 kg/m³, it significantly outperforms conventional polyurethane profiles in impact resistance and durability. It does not absorb moisture, does not swell and does not delaminate — making it equally suited to bathrooms, kitchens, restaurants and any environment exposed to humidity or frequent cleaning.
For products that require sharper ornamental detail — rosettes, classical cornices — Mardom uses ProFoam®, a high-density expanded polyurethane that allows for deeper, more intricate profiles while remaining lightweight and practical to install.
Developed in-house. Tested in the field.
Maximum surface hardness
Skirting boards absorb more daily punishment than any other surface in a room: vacuum cleaners, mops, toys, furniture legs. ScratchShield® maximises surface hardness through specialised polymer hardeners, increasing resistance to scratching and impact by 40% compared with profiles without the technology. The result is skirting boards that hold their appearance for years.
Seamless LED integration
Integrated LED indirect lighting has become one of the most sought-after interior design elements — and one of the hardest to execute well. On standard profiles, the LED strip causes individual light points to show through the surface. LightGuard® eliminates this: specialised compounds thicken the profile structure and the internal geometry is optimised for light diffusion angle, ensuring smooth, uniform glow without visible hotspots.
Factory-finished. Ready to install.
The Mardom Decor Premium line eliminates the need for painting after installation. Profiles leave the factory with a satin varnish coating applied in a spray chamber, with excellent mechanical resistance, surface elasticity and an effective barrier against moisture and dirt. Direct installation, reduced labour time, no finishing stage.
Curved walls, continuous language
Many profiles in the range are available in a flexible version, suitable for curved walls, arched surfaces and complex geometries. The flexible version maintains visual consistency with its rigid counterpart, allowing a continuous design language across different wall conditions.

A closed production cycle
PolyForce® is a fully recyclable material. The factory runs primarily on photovoltaic energy, operates an internal water treatment system and uses a closed production cycle — manufacturing waste is reprocessed and reintegrated into subsequent production runs.
